Hi how are you? I hope you have had a good week. I have started work back in the office one day a week as I have been working from home since March. So that was good as it was normal for one day, although working from home is great. Has your life changed much since March and are you getting back to normal?
Thinking back on this season (that is not over yet), I want us to do some reflection. How has this season been for you? Are you closer to God or further away? What about your other relationships? Are they stronger or weaker? For me, through this time, my relationship with God is still about the same. I have trusted Him the same but if my circumstances were different, maybe I would have had to trust more. My relationships with others is probably weaker as I haven’t seen people in person, although in some cases, I think I have built relationships as different people were in the zoom meetings I went to. It’s interesting how it has gone.
I was reading a verse this week – Psalm 78:19 that really spoke to me. It says:
“They even spoke against God Himself, saying, “God can’t give us food in the wilderness”.
Another version said ” Can God really spread a table in the wilderness?”.
Have you asked God that question in this season? Have you questioned God and said can God really provide for me in this season? If we asked ourselves this question in the good times, we would say of course He can. But in the hard times, sometimes it is hard to trust Him. When we have lost our job, our health is not good or tragedy has struck our family, we often ask where is God?
But I want to tell you that just as God provided for the Israelites in the wilderness, He can provide for you. Just like the ravens fed Elijah at the Brook Cherith, so He can provide for you. Just like the angels fed Jesus in the wilderness after 40 days of temptation, so God can provide for you. What did it take in all these circumstances for God to provide that table in the wilderness.
An absolute belief and trust in God that He could and only Him. An absolute knowing that one of Gods names is Jehovah Jireh our provider. An absolute assurance that God will provide all of our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.
It all comes back to faith – our absolute belief and trust that God can and God will. This is how we need to live our lives every single day – in the good times and the bad. What is on that table in the wilderness? Whatever you need – food, clothing, water, joy, peace, love, money for bills – anything that you are trusting God to supply.
So how is this time for you? A life of continual adventure in God. It is time for you to trust God and partake of that table in the wilderness. But will you?

I was reading about feed provided by Jehovah himself in the wilderness.
One amazing stuff about meat. Why God provided isriealls that particular bird and not chicken,goat, ox but quails.
It was the only meat which has so much of benifits than any other meats.usually weask something and he turns around and gives us not only what we ask for but so much so we can not even imagine.
Likewise God gave his son Jesus and in him not only for our remission of our sin but a great friend, Healer, Helper, comforter,and source of our strength which is Holy spirit.
He exactly knows what we need in our journey.
