As we go through life, there are certain people we don’t like or get along with. Jesus tells us to love our neighbour, which is all people but how do we do this. I saw a painting whilst on holidays with a bridge in it. As the lady was telling me what the painting would remind me of, the words it is time to cross the bridge resounded within me. Deborah is the only woman judge recorded in the Bible. She was a wife, mother, prophetess and courageous. She went to war when that wasn’t the accepted thing. She sat under a palm tree positioned by God in the place between the seat of idolatry and the house of prayer. She sounds like a hero and yes she’s mine but what can we learn from her.
