Obeying without seeing

Obeying without seeing

It is easy to obey God when we can see what He is doing and where He is leading. But often God tells us to obey even though we can’t see why. It is different to how we were taught as children. But the kingdom of God is an upside down kingdom. Read on to find out more.

Cultivate God confidence

Cultivate God confidence is a place we want to be in every day. It means we don’t rely on our own confidence which is useless as it goes up and down depending on our circumstances. We should spend our time cultivating God confidence around our lives. But how do we do this? Read on to find out more.

When the obstacle is big

Obstacles in our lives arise when we least expect them. Sometimes they are little but sometimes they loom large in front and above us. So what do we do, other than cry, which is okay? We need to use the weapons God has given us. What are they? Read on to find out more.

My first response

Our first response- have you ever thought about what that is like for you? When trouble comes or we hear of it what is our first response. This time (part 2)

This time- this is my second blog on this title but I sense the urgency in that phrase. Jesus is coming back for a spotless bride. So what do you and I need to deal with to become spotless for one last time. Read on to find out more.

Hanging on by a thread

In our lives, we can have difficult seasons where trials seem to abound. I have found myself here in the last couple of weeks. So what do we do in these difficult seasons? Do we fall over and cry? Time to occupy

My Facebook reels these days are full of sermons and shorts regarding the return of Jesus. We should be, as Christians, eagerly waiting for the return of Jesus but there is something we should be doing in the waiting. It is occupying. What does this mean and how do we do it? Read on to find out more.

Day by day

Being consistent in our walk with God every day is sometimes difficult. But what if the Bible gives us practical steps. It does. If you have ever prayed, God show me or tell me what to do, Romans 12: 1-2 in the Message Bible gives you keys. Read on to find out how you can live consistently for Jesus day by day.

Consistency- word for 2026

Consistency is the word God gave me for this blog in 2026. Consistency comes when we realign ourselves with Gods Word. This can cover any aspect of our lives from spiritual disciplines to daily life to emotions to attitudes etc. It does not comprise of big things but a small thing repeated over until change comes. What will you be consistent with this year to move forward? Read on to find out more.

The year that was

2025- what a year. At the start of the year God gave me the word that it was the year of renewal. Some of us have had a good year, others have had a challenging. My question is though have we kept our foundations in Jesus secure or has that drifted. Read on to find out why it is important to not move those ancient landmarks.

Time to recalibrate

As I was on holidays, God told me to recalibrate my life. It means to take stock of my roles, how I am spending my time and ensuring the things I am doing are what God requires of me. God tells us in Proverbs to know the state of our flocks. Maybe it is time for you to do the same. Read on to find out why it is important.
