Sometimes we look at circumstances surrounding our lives and think they can never be defeated. We look at the reputation of that circumstance and how others have succumbed to it. We can also look at ourselves and in the natural we look smaller than those big circumstances. But just like the Israelites defeated Ai, we can defeat those circumstances. But only when we get God involved. We are small in the world but mighty in God, exactly the opposite of Ai.

Fighting for your family’

Sometimes in life God positions us in situations where we need to make a choice. We may be standing waiting to be invited to a special group at Church or we may be wanting a promotion at work. David faces this same situation in the Bible. Him and his men wanted to join the Philistine army to fight against the Israelites. David knew he could control the battle if he went.
