Merry Christmas. I just wanted to remind you in the busyness of this season that Jesus was born so He could be Emmanuel - God with us. He is not far away but near. Bless you all
Joseph wore three coats in his story. The first was a coat of pride, the second was a coat of temptation and the third was a coat of destiny. Joseph had to endure separation from family, different culture and prison but even in all of that God knew where He was and eventually he wore his coat of destiny. God is waiting to clothe you too and in fact, already has. Read more to find out how.
In these times, it is important to remember not to fear. God has got this if we will only trust Him. This has been posted before but is worth reading again and being reminded
Looking back on 2018, the year would be my brave year. Doing things I never thought I would. I have listed some brave things that I did. They may not be brave for you. One thing I learnt was that being brave did not mean doing the year alone. God was always with me through it all. All I needed to do was trust Him. Thankful now I had the experiences but maybe not then.
It’s hard to not react to a situation when it comes up, especially if we think it’s urgent. We most often run and try to fix it but there is a better way. When Jesus was told one of His best friends had died, He stayed in the place where He was for two more days. Then God gave Him the clearance to go. What did He find? Lazarus had already died. But there was a greater miracle about to happen. Read more and see what it was and why we shouldn’t always react.
Deborah is the only woman judge recorded in the Bible. She was a wife, mother, prophetess and courageous. She went to war when that wasn’t the accepted thing. She sat under a palm tree positioned by God in the place between the seat of idolatry and the house of prayer. She sounds like a hero and yes she’s mine but what can we learn from her.
Jesus honoured hIs mum at the start and end of His ministry. It is time to honour our mums as well. They are special people and are dear to our hearts. Today honour yours.
