The Christmas story (part 2)
Joseph- a man who much is not written about. But one we can learn from. The Old Testament details his ancestors and they were a mixed up bunch. But Joseph was different. He was caring and kind to Mary even when his heart was broken over her news. What can this gentle and kind man teach us about our walk with God? Read on to find out more.

I love this time of year when the giving spirit seems more alive than any other time of the year. This Christmas I want to look at the stories of people in the Christmas story. What is truth
Truth- it is one of those things we are all searching for. Why? Is it because once we find truth, we know with certainty it will never change. Is it because we all desire to have something stable in our lives and truth seems stable. How do we even find this truth? Read on to find out more.
Who are you
If I posed the question to you- who are you- what would your response be? It would probably centre on what you do eg teacher or what you enjoy eg runner or uour role a mum, dad etc. But what if I told you those were the things you do or the roles you have - they are not who you are. Anchored to God
When we watch the news or read the headlines, we can feel that we are on shifting sand. Our feet can’t get a grip on our world as it keeps changing. Further evil just keeps getting worse and we find ourselves in fear of the current and future world we live in. Is that what God really has for us? Of course not. However it is time for us again to check our anchor is secured to him and is tight. Read on to find out more.
Holy Spirit and power
Have you ever struggled to receive from God? I am okay in believing for finances but sometimes receiving healing seems hard. My question is why when God has promised it and Jesus has died for it? Could it be that I am missing something? Let’s explore this issue by reading on.
An engagement
An engagement in the natural is a really exciting time for the man and woman involved. However it is also a time of massive change - setting up a house, changing identity to husband and wife, thinking about another person etc. In the spiritual when we give our lives to Jesus we also enter into an engagement type relationship with the Holy Spirit to direct us. Find out how by reading on.
Grace
Grace is a word that we flippantly use as we think it covers us to do whatever we want. But that is simply not true. Grace empowers whilst mercy forgives. Even Jesus needed grace to go the cross. Read on to find out more.
