Position yourself and start

Hi how are you? I am well. The weather was warmer over here on the weekend so I was in sandals not shoes. I am sure my feet were throwing a party. So good to be free. How are you all going?

I was just getting onto the mini trampoline the other day when I said to myself “position yourself and start”. Those words spoke to me on a God level.

This year has felt like a few steps forward and a few steps back. It’s like we are dancing with the year. Sometimes it’s in control and sometimes I feel am back in control (I know God is ultimate in control).

But just as I feel normal start to return, something pushes us back a few steps. I am not sure how much change and disruption we can continue to cope with as most of us are creatures of habit and like normal around our worlds.

But as I heard that word sound out ‘ position yourself and start’, I knew it was a prophetic word ringing out. We have been through chaos, now it’s time to reposition ourselves for what’s up ahead.

I was thinking about this the other night especially in relation to the 100 metre race. If you have ever run it in a school sports carnival, you will know what I mean. You go to the starting line, spend time getting your feet in the right position. Then you lean down to get your hands in the right position and then you wait for the starters gun. Sometimes it seems in this race you spend more time preparing than running.

Jesus is coming soon and it seems like He has been preparing some of us for a long time. Maybe you are tired of the position of preparation. But it is time to take that position up again. How do we do that?

1. Position your feet- get your feet ready to walk where God wants you to. Be ready to walk and follow His leading. The walk way is narrow so eyes open and get ready. Get your feet ready to kneel and pray.

2. Position your hands-get your hands ready to work and assist. Put your hand on the plough and get ready for a move of God. Get your hands ready to assist others on the journey. Get your hands ready to lift your arms in praise and worship.

3. Listen for the starters signal. Once you are in position stay there until God says go. Only He knows when it’s time. Don’t go too soon and equally don’t miss it. It is going to be epic.

Continue in patience and wait for God to fire the start gun to run. It is not long now. We are all poised and ready for the greatest move of God in the earth.

So don’t miss it!!

Have an amazing week and keep living the life God intended for you.

Bless you heaps

Karen
