Will Jesus find faith

Hi how are you all today? I hope you are all well and loving Jesus? Well this is my second post this week and I pray it blesses you. It is all about faith. In these times of uncertainty are we trusting in God or who or what? I blogged on this a few weeks ago but just wanted to give you a different perspective. I also just wrote a post on miracles and this one ties in with that one just a little bit.

My key verse is found in Luke 18:8b and states – “Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”. That is a sobering scripture. Does that mean when Jesus comes back, there may be no faith to be found? That would be sad as it is impossible to please God without it. So how can we make sure this doesn’t happen in our lifetime and in the generation to come.

First, we need to look at the two ways we can receive from God. The first way is by faith – which is knowing what the Word says about our situation, speaking that Word until we know without a shadow of a doubt that God says what He means and means what He says. At that point, faith comes and our answer follows.

But there is another way and this way seems to be the easy way. 1 Corinthians 12: 7-11 states that there are manifestations of the Holy Spirit given as He wills. These include gifts of healings and working of miracles. So, if we are in a church service or other meeting where the Holy Spirit is moving, we may receive our miracle or our healing this way. This is what some people chase in order to receive as it means they don’t have to rely on the Word of God and their own faith, they rely on the Holy Spirit moving and other people’s faith.

But what if you had a desperate need in some area of your life, are you prepared to wait for the next healing meeting or the next miracles meeting? Wouldn’t if be better if you read the Bible, received your own answer and thereby, increased your own faith and trust in God. That would be better because the next time you had a need, you would know that the Word of God works and you can just start applying it straight away instead of waiting for a meeting.

This is the way God wants us to live – the first way- believing in His Word and in Him. Then if Jesus comes back in our lifetime, He will find faith on the earth. By the way, teach this to your family and others, then the generations will also know.

Have an amazing week and keep living the life God intended for you.

Bless you

Karen
