Do you see what God sees

Do I see what God sees poses a very real question for all of us? Are we seeing the way God sees or maybe our first question should be what does God see? For some of us, we are hoping that God doesn’t see much for then we could hide and pretend it didn’t happen. We may want to hide our thoughts, our actions or even ourselves from God.

But God sees everything. That’s a scary thought sometimes but it is not in what God sees but how He sees. Let’s look at some verses from the Bible.

In 2 Chronicles 6:9, it says ” The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him”. God is searching and looking for you – if you are fully committed to Him. Searching does not just mean a casual glance – it is a deliberate act in order to find something. Searching never gives up until finding happens. God is seeing you.

Job 31:4 states that “Doesn’t God see everything I do and every step I take”. Please don’t get into fear over that. It is like a parent watching a child. We see what our child does and every step they take. Why? So we are there for them protecting them and picking them up when they fall. God is not looking at you to get you-He is looking at you to help you and make sure that you are safe. He is only a whisper away. It should comfort us that God sees us – He never leaves us – He is our ever present help in times of trouble. He is there for us, not against us.

Hebrews 4:13 states that “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God”. That should make us sing. Why? Because if God see everything, then every hurt and every injustice in our life is seen by God. Nothing escapes His notice or His intention. The Bible says He bottles every one of our tears. He knows all of our prayers and the cries of our heart. He rejoices when we rejoice. He knows before we repent that we have sinned.

Stop hiding from God. He is your loving Heavenly Father and just wants to put His arms around you. He is the Father looking out for the prodigals to come home- not to beat you but to celebrate with you. He is the Creator waiting for His creation to recognise Him. He is the Father Who sent His only Son to live for you and then die for you so that you may have an abundant life full of blessing and overflow. Today, God is saying I see you and I am waiting for you. Come home – the welcome mat is down and My love is unconditional.

This week think on God and how He always sees you. Come to Him and see God for Who He really is. He loves you and I so much. Have a blessed week and keep living the life God intended for you.
