Have you ever had a week, month or season where it feels that the world is coming against you. It doesn’t matter how hard you try, how much you pray or how much you read the Bible, it appears that the answer is too far out of reach. This is my last couple of weeks. So I wrote this blog to help me process what to do. I pray it helps you too!!
The first thing that we need to establish in our hearts is that God loves you and me, that His Word is the truth and that we don’t waver from the truth that we are more than conquerors if we stick with God. That is my position taken care of.
The second thing is that we know in our hearts that all things work together for good to those that love God, that are called according to His purpose. So no matter what happens, God is in control. That is my peace taken care of.
The third thing is that we need to cry out to God and get a revelation word from God that we can stand on until our situation is resolved. I am reminded of one of the times in King David’s life, where in the natural it appeared he had lost everything and was about to lose what was left, his life. So what did he do, he strengthened himself in God (1 Samuel 30). David didn’t strengthen himself in the well wishes of people (there was none), he didn’t strengthen himself in previous encounters with God ( he knew he needed a new revelation) and he didn’t just give up ( he was a warrior and so are you in Gods army’s). So what happened, God gave him a word and he recovered all (just remember there was still another three days and still another battle). Don’t give up on God and that word from God – no matter how much time it takes or how many battles are still ahead. My power in God is restored and taken care of.
So God’s word for you today is seek Him, get in His Word and stand until you see your miracle come to pass. God is not giving up on you, so don’t give up on Him. Get in that place where your position, peace and power have all been restored in God. You can do it because you are a warrior and with God, you are more than able.
